Dr Guy Faure works at CIRAD and carries out research on advisory services, innovation support services, and the impact of research with the perspective to contribute to the agroecological transition of food systems in Southern countries. He was the director of the research unit “innovation and development”. Currently, he is posted at the European Commission (DG INTPA) as an expert supporting EU research and innovation programs such as the DeSIRA initiative and participating in policy dialogue with international organisations.
In this session we share innovations in the digital ecosystem that better enable farmer-driven decision making and are inclusive of smallholder farmers. We seek audience perspectives and their vision for further development, and advocate for use of principles for social inclusion to guide the development of digital resources.
