ICTforAg 2024 covers a wide range of topics focused on localizing ICT to empower and engage small-scale producers in the global South. Our Washington, DC event explores the localization of ICT, responsible AI in agriculture, the potential for AI to increase farm profitability, empowering citizen science, and harnessing digital solutions for sustainable and regenerative farming practices. Ten breakout sessions will cover topics ranging from weather-based index insurance, food security monitoring, and the role of ICT in empowering smallholder farmers in the global carbon market.
