My name is Royford Mutegi and as a Co-Founder and Head of Strategy and Business Development at the Vermi-Farm Initiative, I’m deeply committed to leveraging innovative solutions to address the challenge of abject poverty caused by unreliable incomes in our community. Through our initiatives like Vermi-Farm DigiShamba and the Vermi-Farm Adapt Finance Program, we aim to create sustainable job opportunities and improve livelihoods for smallholder farmers like Karimi in our village. With a background in Applied Physics and Computer Science, I’m passionate about harnessing digital technologies to drive positive change in the agricultural sector and beyond.
