Violaine Laurens is the Digital Solutions Manager for Solidaridad Latin America, an international solution-oriented civil society organization working in over 40 countries worldwide to create fair and sustainable supply chains. Violaine is an experienced International Development and Sustainability professional with a demonstrated track-record of bringing innovation to foster sustainable and inclusive agricultural value chains in Latin America. With a background in political sciences, she holds an MSc in Development studies (Sciences-po Paris, France) and a postgraduate degree in Sustainable business management (HEC Paris, France & FGV-EAESP, Brazil). She´s an alum of the Miller Center Accelerator, the world largest university-based social enterprise accelerator. She has over 15 years of experience leading sustainability and innovation projects with both non-profits and large companies in the food and retail industry.
In this session we share innovations in the digital ecosystem that better enable farmer-driven decision making and are inclusive of smallholder farmers. We seek audience perspectives and their vision for further development, and advocate for use of principles for social inclusion to guide the development of digital resources.
